Celebrate Mother’s Day at the Coach & Horses Inn with a beautifully crafted set menu designed for a relaxed and memorable family gathering.

Enjoy two courses for £29 or three courses for £39, beginning with delicious starters such as homemade soup with sourdough, chicken satay with Asian salad and sesame dressing, king prawns in garlic and chilli butter, or wild garlic and Cornish Yarg arancini.

Classic roast mains include strip loin of beef, roast lamb, chicken supreme, loin of pork or a vegetable Wellington, all served with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and rich homemade gravy.

To finish, indulge in comforting desserts such as sticky date and orange pudding, rhubarb and apple crumble, white chocolate panna cotta or vegan chocolate and cherry cheesecake.

A dedicated children’s menu and mini roasts for under 11s ensure the whole family can enjoy a special celebration together.

Stopped on way to grandkids for a quick lunch – absolutely delicious small plates, well cooked and tasty! Great beer, lovely garden, nice welcoming staff and kept kitchen open for us. Highly recommend and will be back!

Good value room and very attentive staff both at check-in and in the restaurant. Room was clean and comfortable and the heating was efficient, it was a cold night, and ideal for a one night stopover. The bar and restaurant served a varied menu and the food was very good. Wine and beer choices fine and the serving staff were friendly, helpful and efficient
